Best Sarawak Laksa in Town @ 7th Mile Kitchen, Kelana Jaya

Read about 7th Mile Kitchen from KY's blog and headed to the restaurant quite right away simply because both Deardo and I are fans of Sarawak Laksa and Kolo Mee.
We were at the rather clean and simple restaurant located underneath an apartment quite early on a Saturday morning but already there were quite some crowd there. Looks promising!
Being adventurous, I ordered all three famous Sarawakian dishes - Sarawak Laksa, Kolo Mee and Tomota Kuey Teow to try.
Sarawak Laksa (Large), RM6.
Kolo Mee (Large), RM5.50.
Tomato Kuey Teow (Small), RM5.
While visually not very interesting-looking, the Sarawak Laksa turned out to be really good! Thick broth where you can taste all the herbs used in it, with the usual ingredients - prawns, chicken and fried eggs strips. Only thing I didn't like was the bihun being the normal ones and not the slightly thicker ones. It was nonetheless the best Sarawak Laksa we've had in KL so far! :) The Kolo Mee was also pretty satisfying with the noodles being very springy and moist with a touch of pork oil, although I can't say the Char Siew and minced pork were any outstanding. As for the Tomato Kuey Teow, let's just say we are not really used to the taste of it. It wasn't bad, just not our favourite.
3-Layer Tea, RM2.80.
Love thier 3-layer tea a lot too (although when it came it was only 2-layer tea), not too sweet, yet has the nice fragrant from the Gula Melaka.
We paid RM19.30 for the sumptuous breakfast, which was pretty reasonable. Personally love the Sarawak Laksa and Kolo Mee a lot and will surely be back whenever I need my Sarawakian food fix~!
